IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY

At Impact Violence, we are committed to transforming communities by providing individuals with alternatives to street violence. We believe it's time to alter life trajectories for those who aspire to a different path. From adolescents to adults, Impact is dedicated to offering a fresh start, empowering individuals with opportunities that pave the way for a life free from violence, and filled with promise.

Voices of Loss (Grieving Parents Group)

Voices of Loss are singularly equipped by their loss to influence the hearts and minds of their service population. By reliving their worst memories with strength and uncensored emotion, Voices of Loss possess unparalleled authority to speak truth to their experiences. Voices of Loss addresses individuals who are incarcerated or on probation or parole for gang related crimes.

Every week, our Voices of Loss and volunteers place phone calls to families of homicide victims to check in on their healing and mental state. And inform them of upcoming IMPACT VIOLENCE programs and events. Families may ask to be removed from our call list at any time.

“With real support from the community, we can slow down a big portion of Gun violence.”

— Levi Reed., Founder of Impact Violence
